One must understand that this is taking place in a small village of Spain, and long time ago when Spain had real economic problems plus a lot of taboo. El cuento, cuyo protagonista es Lope, abarca 5 años y tiene lugar en el campo de España. Pecado de omisión El Pecado de omisión es un cuento muy realista de Ana María Matute.
